Feature
Custom Variables
Define reusable values once and insert them across supported calculators to reduce repetitive input.
Key Benefits
Store constants you use all the time — a tax rate, an inflation assumption, your hourly rate.
Insert the same value into any calculator, so every scenario uses identical assumptions.
Change a value once and every future calculation picks up the update.
Bulk-import variables from a CSV file when you have many to set up.
How It Works
Open the Variables tab in the right-hand panel and click Create.
Give each variable a clear name (like tax_rate) and a numeric value.
In any input field showing the variable icon, click it to insert a stored value.
You can also create one on the fly from global search: type >var rate = 5.
Build Your Variable Library
Open CalcTrail and create reusable variables for your recurring values.
