Frequently Asked Questions

Does this calculate business days?

Yes. Select "Business Days" mode to exclude weekends. You can also manually adjust for public holidays to get an exact working-day count.

Is the end date included in the count?

Total Days uses exclusive counting — the same as subtracting the start date from the end date — so Jan 1 to Jan 2 counts as 1 day, not 2. The years/months/days breakdown uses the same convention, so the two figures always agree.

Can I add or subtract days from a specific date?

Yes. Use Add/Subtract mode: enter a starting date, choose to add or subtract a number of years, months, and days, and the calculator returns the resulting date. Useful for calculating deadlines, contract end dates, and due dates.

Can I export my Date Difference calculations?
