By accessing and using CalcTrail, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

• Personal Use: CalcTrail is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
• Service Reliability: The platform is provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted service or perfect accuracy.
• Analytics & Search: We use analytics and search telemetry to improve the product; search tracking can be disabled in Settings.
• Your Data: You retain ownership of your data; we process it only to provide the service and features you use.
• Account Responsibility: You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and activity.

Permission is granted to temporarily use CalcTrail for personal, non-commercial purposes. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
• Attempt to reverse engineer any software contained in CalcTrail
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You may not use CalcTrail:

• In any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
• To transmit any malicious code or viruses
• To attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• To interfere with or disrupt the service or servers

The calculations provided by CalcTrail are for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim all warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the calculations for any particular purpose.

In no event shall CalcTrail or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use CalcTrail, even if CalcTrail has been notified of the possibility of such damage.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by:

• Posting the updated terms on this page
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending an email notification for significant changes (if you have an account)
• Displaying a notice on the website for major updates

Your continued use of CalcTrail after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the service and may delete your account.

The CalcTrail platform, including its design, functionality, code, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You acknowledge that:

• All rights, title, and interest in CalcTrail remain with us
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission
• Your use of CalcTrail does not grant you any ownership rights
• You retain ownership of any data you create or upload to CalcTrail

You are solely responsible for the content and data you create, upload, or store in CalcTrail:

• You retain all rights to your data and content
• You grant us a license to store, process, and display your data to provide the service
• You warrant that your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
• You are responsible for backing up your data (we provide export tools for this purpose)

We strive to provide reliable service, but:

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
• We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes when possible

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• CalcTrail is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (or $0 if you're using the free tier)
• Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CalcTrail and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where CalcTrail operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. For disputes:

• We encourage resolving disputes through direct communication first
• If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts
• You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CalcTrail regarding the use of the service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
